Walkie Talkie Radios in Schools & Colleges
Walkie Talkie radios can help to solve many problems within schools and college campuses. Many members of staff
often move around a large site and can be very difficult to track down when they are needed.
It is in the nature of the way that schools work that staff are not desk-based, and there may not be telephones
in each class-room etc. We have supplied many sets of walkie-talkie radios to schools, colleges and universities
for use by their staff.

For many schools, the cheaper short-range PMR446 licence-free radios will suffice. We do
low-cost, light-duty radios like the Cobra
MT800 and MT975, as well as more expensive
professional quality models like the Kirisun PT558 or Entel HX446L.
For larger schools and colleges, depending on campus size and type and size of buildings, the
more powerful "licenced" walkie-talkies may be required.
Should you go buy "licensable" walkie-talkies from us, we can sort out the licence application
with Ofcom for you. It is simple, straightforward and costs £75 every five years.

We are happy to send out a couple of any type of radio to try out around your site for a week or
two.
Just send us an email or a fax, or complete the "Free Trial" form
below on this page.
We have supplied schools and colleges with sets of walkie-talkie radios ranging from four for a
small application up to 40+ for a large comprehensive school.
Our radios have the range to cover even quite a large campus. Once you have them, there are no
running costs - no licence fees or line rental to pay.
