Amherst have an Ofcom “Business Radio Suppliers Licence”.
This licence is renewed every five years.
What Does Amherst’s Licence Allow Us To Do?
The “Business Radio Supplier’s Licence allows us to hire out walkie talkie radio equipment, and other radios, such as vehicle and base station radios, to our customers.
This means that customers hiring our walkie-talkies do not need to worry or even think about legal / licencing issues at all.
Our customers are using OUR licence, so they don’t need to get a licence for their hire of radios.
Our licence also allows us to send out “demo” or “sample” radios to customers or prospective customers, who can then use them without worrying about being licenced.
