The Entel DT985 provides digital clarity in an Atex2c compliant radio, and is IP68-rated and therefore submersible, and has a clear, multi-functional display, offering individual and multi-group selective calling.

Description

The DT985 is an ATEX IIC UHF digital two way radio.

Built to the highest environmental protection rating of IP68, this ensures that the radio has a full Ingres protection against dust whilst also being fully submersible in 2 meters of water for up to 4 hours. It will work in continues to operate seamlessly in temperatures from -30ยฐC up to 50ยฐC. It meets military robustness standard MIL-STD-810.C/D/E/F/G.

It has an easy-to-read display screen. It offers selective calling of other individual users and groups of users. A robust accessory socket is present with all of Entel’s DT range, with both a multi-pin interface and micro-USB socket, the connection points are gold-plated which means that are both protected against submersion and the risk of any damage or corrosion are minimized.

Entel’s latest audio technology is included as standard with the entire DT range, providing loud and clear audio no matter what environment the radio is being used in.

The DT985 also uses “Smart Speech Tailoring”, this automatically detects the type of accessory that is connected and optimizes the audio output accordingly in order to deliver the very best performance.
