Talkpod AR60P Digital Meshing Repeater
The Talkpod AR60P is a small mini-repeater that works with groups of Talkpod A50P "meshing" walkie talkie radios to enhance the overall area of radio coverage by relaying radio messages.
Effectively, each A50P radio acts as its own mini-repeater, so when you have a reasonable number of these radios used in the same area, then they all benefit from increased range and coverage, because each radio can "pass on" messages to other radios within its range.
This "meshing" facility could easily solve problems when using radios within a multi-floor building, for example, and conventional radios will not get the signal from the 6th floor all the way to the basement.
If there some radio users on all or most of the different levels, then their radios will relay the messages so that complete coverage is achieved.
